Tour of Sri Lanka: No progress could be made on conducting ODI matches to prepare for the World Cup

No progress has been made yet on adding ODI matches to the tour of Sri Lanka by the Pakistan cricket team. Sources say that talks between the Pakistan and Sri Lankan boards started a few weeks ago, between the two boards regarding the inclusion of ODI matches in the series. The two boards discussed the inclusion of ODIs to prepare for the World Cup.

According to sources, the proposal of ODI matches between Pakistan and Sri Lanka has not been finalised, it is likely that there will be a final discussion on the matter in the next few days. It should be noted that the Pakistan cricket team is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka in July, the tour includes 2 Test matches of the ICC Test Championship.
